Online advertising is a multi-billion dollar per year industry. One
company, however, is revolutionizing the way companies advertise on the
Web by selling fifty-million "pixel ads". And the best part is it's
absolutely free. Welcome to the new era of Internet advertising.
Orlando,
FL - July, 26 2006 - With the unexpected success of Alex Tew's 'The
Million Dollar Homepage', a website setup to raise one million dollars
by selling pixel advertisements for one dollar per pixel, many
companies are jumping on the bandwagon trying to strike it rich with
the next greatest idea. To many, these companies are "in it for the
buck", but Ken Mayen of FreeUSPixels.com has his own plans to
reconstruct the way companies advertise on the Web.
Pixel
advertising, the process of selling online advertisement space on a
massive grid of pixels, has taken the modern Internet by storm.
Thousands of Web developers from around the world have created websites
incorporating pixel advertising with the hopes of striking it rich, but
Ken Mayen, President of FreeUSPixels.com, has different plans for his
website.
Mayen's website is just as it is described; a free pixel advertising
gateway for companies throughout the world to post an image linking to
their website on a grid of pixels. "The purpose of a pixel advertising
site is to drive significant amounts of quality traffic to advertisers'
homepages", says Ken Mayen, "and pixel advertising certainly does
work!"
When asked to describe his website, Mayen stated "We are a free
advertising portal available to anyone, anywhere, at any time. For
those who don't know, a pixel is the basic unit of the composition of
an image on a television screen, computer monitor or similar display.
For our purposes, a pixel block is 10x10 pixels. On every page there
are 10,000 10x10 blocks equaling 1,000,000 pixels per page."
Brian Wallenstein, owner a popular review-based website, says
FreeUSPixels.com has "completely changed the way Internet advertising
works. There's nothing like promoting your goods or services for free,
especially on the Internet."
FreeUSPixels.com is currently accepting immediate ad placements on a first come, first served basis.
FreeUSPixels.com launched in July of 2006 and expects to run out of all available advertising space by 2007.
